Man oh man is BBN happy. Liam Coen (former OC for UK) is back in Kentucky after a 2-year hiatus. He originally was at Kentucky for years and brought the offense from the ground up. He is well known as one of the best Offensive Coordinators in the sec and the whole country. Stoops said “I believe Coen will bring out the physicality in our roster, and will implement some offensive intricacies from Mcvays rams”.
In my opinion this is spot on. Not only was Coen one of the best in the business in college but now he has a year of pro football play calling under his belt and that can’t do anything but help. I think the pay calling of Sean Mcvay is beautiful and I think it can add that extra dose of unexpectedness to the UK offense especially now that we have a solid WR and Qb trio.
