Devin Leary First Game Recap

After the first game of the year for UK Devin Leary he ended week one going 58% completion and passed for 241 yards. This was a solid stat line for Leary considering the rough start at Kroger Field going down 7-3 in the first quarter. Leary said, “Whether we score a bunch of points or we don’t we always walk off the field asking how can we get better”. This mindset will tend to serve Leary well later in the season as the Cats have some hard and challenging games coming up not too far from now. Leary is forming into his own and will be more comfortable when week two vs. EKU rolls around on Saturday.
