A Look Into Kentuckys Win over EKU

After the Ball state game I thought the little missed details and the small mistakes would’ve been cleaned up by now. This simply hasn’t been the case, despite the team’s stronger second half effort in a 28-17 victory over Eastern Kentucky. Through two games, this team has struggled with sloppy play, penalties galore, and uneven execution on both sides of the ball. But a score of 2-0 is still a score of 2-0, and Mark Stoops and his team hope to make it three this coming Saturday. The Zips of Akron will be the next opponent for Kentucky on Saturday, September 16. After the online-only broadcast on Saturday, it’s fantastic to see that the game will start at Kroger Field at 7:30 pm ET and be shown on ESPNU. Week three’s change in game time enables Kentucky to play in front of lights and, in my opinion, will equate to better results.
